IEC's 4-year Apprenticeship Program
Leading the Nation in Electrical Training
With IEC's 4-year apprenticeship program recognized by U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Apprenticeship and Training, you can become a journeyman electrician and earn college credits. So not only do you get valuable classroom training with a full-time job and benefits, you may also qualify for up to 37 credit hours through the American Council of Education.
Earn College Credit
Apprentices may receive college credit hours for completing IEC's four-year curriculum program.
Requirements
To qualify for IEC's apprenticeship program you must be a high school graduate or have obtained a GED.

Construction Electricians
Install electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
Service Electricians
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance and upgrade electrical systems.
Utility Electricians
Install and maintain low-, medium-, and high-voltage service wiring for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
Telecommunications
Technicians install and maintain data systems for computers and communication networks. Terminate phone, data, coaxial and optical fiber cables.
